سُوْرَةُ اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ

Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 15

۞ قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم بِخَيْرٍ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّـٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَٰنٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ ﴿15﴾
Say: "Shall I inform you of things far better than those? For Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2) there are Gardens (Paradise) with their Lord, underneath which rivers flow. Therein (is their) eternal (home) and Azwâjun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives). And Allâh will be pleased with them. And Allâh is All-Seer of the (His) slaves".
۞ قُلْ qul Say
أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم a-unabbi-ukum Shall I inform you
بِخَيْرٍۢ bikhayrin of better
مِّن min than
ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ dhālikum that
لِلَّذِينَ lilladhīna For those who
ٱتَّقَوْا۟ ittaqaw fear[ed]
عِندَ ʿinda with
رَبِّهِمْ rabbihim their Lord
جَنَّـٰتٌۭ jannātun (are) Gardens
تَجْرِى tajrī flows
مِن min from
تَحْتِهَا taḥtihā underneath them
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ l-anhāru [the] rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ khālidīna abiding forever
فِيهَا fīhā in it
وَأَزْوَٰجٌۭ wa-azwājun and spouses
مُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ muṭahharatun pure
وَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ wariḍ'wānun and approval
مِّنَ mina from
ٱللَّهِ ۗ l-lahi Allah
وَٱللَّهُ wal-lahu And Allah
بَصِيرٌۢ baṣīrun (is) All-Seer
بِٱلْعِبَادِ bil-ʿibādi of (His) slaves

15. 1. In this verse, the believers are being told not to become lost in the aforementioned worldly things, but rather that there is a life and blessings with the Lord that are better than these, which only the people of Taqwa will deserve. Therefore, you should adopt Taqwa; if this develops within you, then surely you will gather the goodness of both religion and the world in your embrace.

15. 2. Pure, meaning they will be free from the worldly impurities of menstruation, postpartum bleeding, and other filth, and they will be chaste. In the next two verses, the qualities of the people of Taqwa are mentioned.
