سُوْرَةُ اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ
Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 106
يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ ۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ ﴿106﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
On the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) when some faces will become white and some faces will become black; as for those whose faces will become black (to them will be said): "Did you reject Faith after accepting it? Then taste the torment (in Hell) for rejecting Faith."

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

Hazrat Ibn Abbas ؓ has interpreted this as referring to Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah and Ahl al-Bid'ah wa'l-Iftiraq (Ibn Kathir and Fath al-Qadeer), from which it is understood that Islam is that upon which Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah act, and Ahl al-Bid'ah and Ahl al-Iftiraq are deprived of this blessing of Islam which is the means of salvation.
