Surah Al-Ankaboot (29) — Ayah 55

يَوْمَ يَغْشَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿55﴾
On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: "Taste what you used to do."
يَوْمَ yawma On (the) Day
يَغْشَىٰهُمُ yaghshāhumu will cover them
ٱلْعَذَابُ l-ʿadhābu the punishment
مِن min from
فَوْقِهِمْ fawqihim above them
وَمِن wamin and from
تَحْتِ taḥti below
أَرْجُلِهِمْ arjulihim their feet
وَيَقُولُ wayaqūlu and He will say
ذُوقُوا۟ dhūqū Taste
مَا what
كُنتُمْ kuntum you used
تَعْمَلُونَ taʿmalūna (to) do
