Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
18-1. This could also be the statement of Ibrahim (peace be upon him), which he said to his people. Or it is the statement of Allah Almighty in which there is an address to the people of Makkah, and in it, the Prophet ﷺ is being consoled that if the disbelievers of Makkah are denying you, then there is no need to be distressed by this; this is what has always happened with the prophets. Previous nations also denied the messengers and as a result, they suffered destruction and ruin.

Whether anyone is guided by it or not, you are not responsible for this, nor will you be questioned about it, because giving guidance or not is only in the power of Allah, who, according to His practice, grants guidance to the one in whom He sees a sincere desire for guidance. He leaves others wandering in the darkness of misguidance.
