Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

77-1. That is, spend your wealth in those places and ways where Allah Almighty likes, by this your Hereafter will be improved and you will receive its reward there.

77-2. That is, spend moderately even on the permissible things of the world. What are the permissible things of the world? Eating, drinking, clothing, house, marriage, etc. The meaning is that just as your Lord has a right over you, similarly your own self, your wife and children, and guests, etc. also have rights over you. Give every rightful person his due right.

77-3. Allah has favored you by giving you wealth, so do favor upon the creation by spending on them.

77-4. That is, your purpose should not be to spread corruption in the land. Similarly, do not mistreat the creation instead of treating them well, nor commit sins, for all these things spread corruption.
