ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ هُم بِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿52﴾
Those to whom We gave the Scripture [i.e. the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before it, they believe in it (the Qur’ân).
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna Those who
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ātaynāhumu We gave them
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ l-kitāba the Scripture
مِن min before it
قَبْلِهِۦ qablihi before it
هُم hum they
بِهِۦ bihi in it
يُؤْمِنُونَ yu'minūna believe

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 52-1. By this are meant the Jews who became Muslims, such as Abdullah bin Salam and others, or they are the Christians who came from Abyssinia to the service of the Prophet ﷺ and, after listening to the Noble Qur'an from his blessed tongue, became Muslims (Ibn Kathir).
