سُوْرَةُ الْقَصَصِ
Surah Al-Qasas (28) — Ayah 19
فَلَمَّآ أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِٱلَّذِى هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِى كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًۢا بِٱلْأَمْسِ ۖ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُصْلِحِينَ ﴿19﴾

Then when he decided to seize the man who was an enemy to both of them, the man said: "O Mûsâ (Moses)! Is it your intention to kill me as you killed a man yesterday? Your aim is nothing but to become a tyrant in the land, and not to be one of those who do right."

19-1. That is, Musa (Moses) (AS) intended to seize the Qibti, because he was the enemy of Musa (AS) and the Children of Israel, so that the fight would not escalate further.
19-2. The complainant (the Israelite) thought that Musa (AS) was perhaps about to seize him, so he cried out, "O Musa," by which the Qibti came to know that the one who was killed yesterday was killed by Musa (AS). He went and informed Pharaoh, upon which Pharaoh resolved to kill Musa (AS) in retaliation.
19-2.
