Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

3-1. This subject has been mentioned in several places that although the Noble Quran has been revealed for the guidance of the entire human race, in reality, only those will be rightly guided who are seekers of guidance. Those who close the windows of their hearts and minds to seeing and hearing the truth, or who distort their hearts with the darkness of sins—how can the Quran set them on the straight path? Their example is like that of the blind who cannot benefit from the light of the sun, even though the sun’s light is the cause of brightness for the whole world.
