29-1. That is, if We had destroyed any town without sending messengers and warning, it would have been injustice; however, We did not commit such injustice, rather, according to the demands of justice, We first sent messengers to every town, who warned the people of the town about the divine punishment, and after that, when they did not obey the messenger, We destroyed them. The same subject is also mentioned in Bani Isra'il:15 and Qasas:59, etc.
