فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿102﴾
(Alas!) If we only had a chance to return (to the world), we shall truly be among the believers!
فَلَوْ falaw Then if
أَنَّ anna that
لَنَا lanā we had
كَرَّةًۭ karratan a return
فَنَكُونَ fanakūna then we could be
مِنَ mina of
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ l-mu'minīna the believers

12-1 The disbelievers and polytheists will wish on the Day of Resurrection to return to the world so that they may obey Allah and please Him. But Allah has stated elsewhere that even if they were sent back to the world again, they would do the same as they did before.
