Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
1. Habaa refers to those fine particles that are visible in a ray of sunlight entering a house through a hole, but if someone tries to catch them in their hand, it is not possible. The deeds of the disbelievers will also be as insignificant as these particles on the Day of Judgment, because they will be devoid of both faith and sincerity, as well as conformity to the Shariah. Here, the deeds of the disbelievers are likened to insignificant particles. Similarly, in other places, they are described as ashes, sometimes as a mirage, and sometimes as a smooth, slippery stone. All these parables have already been mentioned; see
