لَّا تَدْعُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَٰحِدًا وَٱدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا ﴿14﴾
Exclaim not today for one destruction, but exclaim for many destructions.
لَّا (Do) not

ثُبُورًۭا thubūran (for) destruction
وَٰحِدًۭا wāḥidan one

14-1. That is, when the people of Hell, distressed by the torment of Hell, will wish that if only death would come to them, that they may be annihilated. Then it will be said to them that now do not call for one death, but call for many deaths. The meaning is that now, for you, there are various kinds of punishments forever, that is, deaths upon deaths; how long will you keep demanding death?
