سُوْرَةُ النُّوْرِ
Surah An-Noor (24) — Ayah 59
وَإِذَا بَلَغَ ٱلْأَطْفَـٰلُ مِنكُمُ ٱلْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَـْٔذِنُوا۟ كَمَا ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴿59﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And when the children among you come to puberty, then let them (also) ask for permission, as those senior to them (in age). Thus Allâh makes clear His Ayât (Commandments and legal obligations) for you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

وَٱللَّهُ

And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌۭ

59-1. By these children are meant freeborn children; after reaching puberty, their ruling is the same as that of general men, therefore it is necessary that whenever they come to someone's house, they should first seek permission.
