وَإِن يَكُن لَّهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ يَأْتُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مُذْعِنِينَ ﴿49﴾
But if the truth is on their side, they come to him willingly with submission.
وَإِن wa-in But if

لَّهُمُ lahumu with them
ٱلْحَقُّ l-ḥaqu the truth
يَأْتُوٓا۟ yatū they come
إِلَيْهِ ilayhi to him
مُذْعِنِينَ mudh'ʿinīna (as) promptly obedient

49-1. Because they are certain that the decision issued from the Prophetic court ﷺ will have no favoritism for anyone, therefore they avoid taking their case there. However, if they know that they are in the right in the case and there is a strong possibility that the decision will be in their favor, then they come there happily.
