Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 42-1. By this are meant the peoples of Salih, Lut, and Shu'ayb (علیہم السلام), because in Surah Al-A'raf and Surah their stories are mentioned in this order. According to some, the Children of Israel are meant. "Qurūn" is the plural of "qarn" and here it is used in the sense of "ummah" (community).
