Surah Al-Muminoon (23) — Ayah 115

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ ﴿115﴾
"Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?"
أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ afaḥasib'tum Then did you think
أَنَّمَا annamā that
خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ khalaqnākum We created you
عَبَثًۭا ʿabathan uselessly
وَأَنَّكُمْ wa-annakum and that you
إِلَيْنَا ilaynā to Us
لَا not
تُرْجَعُونَ tur'jaʿūna will be returned
