Surah Al-Hajj (22) — Ayah 61

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌ ﴿61﴾
That is because Allâh merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And verily, Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Seer.
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika That
بِأَنَّ bi-anna (is) because
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
يُولِجُ yūliju causes to enter
ٱلَّيْلَ al-layla the night
فِى in (to)
ٱلنَّهَارِ l-nahāri the day
وَيُولِجُ wayūliju and causes to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ l-nahāra the day
فِى in (to)
ٱلَّيْلِ al-layli the night
وَأَنَّ wa-anna And indeed
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
سَمِيعٌۢ samīʿun (is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٌۭ baṣīrun All-Seer

61. 1. That is, the One who is capable of acting in this manner, He is also capable of taking retribution from the oppressors on behalf of those servants of His who are wronged.
