Surah Al-Anbiyaa (21) — Ayah 83

۞ وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ ﴿83﴾
And (remember) Ayyûb (Job), when he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy."
۞ وَأَيُّوبَ wa-ayyūba And Ayub
إِذْ idh when
نَادَىٰ nādā he called
رَبَّهُۥٓ rabbahu (to) his Lord
أَنِّى annī Indeed, [I]
مَسَّنِىَ massaniya has touched me
ٱلضُّرُّ l-ḍuru the adversity
وَأَنتَ wa-anta and You
أَرْحَمُ arḥamu (are) Most Merciful
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ l-rāḥimīna (of) the Merciful
