Surah Al-Anbiyaa (21) — Ayah 78

وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِى ٱلْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلْقَوْمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَـٰهِدِينَ ﴿78﴾
And (remember) Dâwûd (David) and Sulaimân (Solomon), when they gave judgement in the case of the field in which the sheep of certain people had pastured at night; and We were witness to their judgement.
وَدَاوُۥدَ wadāwūda And Dawud
وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ wasulaymāna and Sulaiman
إِذْ idh when
يَحْكُمَانِ yaḥkumāni they judged
فِى concerning
ٱلْحَرْثِ l-ḥarthi the field
إِذْ idh when
نَفَشَتْ nafashat pastured
فِيهِ fīhi in it
غَنَمُ ghanamu sheep
ٱلْقَوْمِ l-qawmi (of) a people
وَكُنَّا wakunnā and We were
لِحُكْمِهِمْ liḥuk'mihim to their judgment
شَـٰهِدِينَ shāhidīna witness
