Surah Al-Anbiyaa (21) — Ayah 72

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَـٰلِحِينَ ﴿72﴾
And We bestowed upon him Ishâq (Isaac), and (a grandson) Ya‘qûb (Jacob). Each one We made righteous.
وَوَهَبْنَا wawahabnā And We bestowed
لَهُۥٓ lahu on him
إِسْحَـٰقَ is'ḥāqa Isaac
وَيَعْقُوبَ wayaʿqūba and Yaqub
نَافِلَةًۭ ۖ nāfilatan (in) addition
وَكُلًّۭا wakullan and all
جَعَلْنَا jaʿalnā We made
صَـٰلِحِينَ ṣāliḥīna righteous

72. 1. نَا فِلَۃ means extra, that is, Prophet Ibrahim ؑ had only prayed for a son, We granted him a grandson as well without any supplication.
