Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

27. 1. This refers to the saying of the polytheists who used to say that the angels are the daughters of Allah. It is stated that they are not daughters, but His honored servants and obedient to Him. Furthermore, sons and daughters are needed only when, in old age, weakness and senility—such conditions—befall a human being. Allah, the Exalted, is free from all such weaknesses and deficiencies. Therefore, what need does He have for children or any support? This is why it has been repeatedly clarified in the Noble Quran that Allah, the Exalted, has no children.
