سُوْرَةُ طٰهٰ

Surah Taa-Haa (20) — Ayah 7

وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى ﴿7﴾
And if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden.
وَإِن wa-in And if
تَجْهَرْ tajhar you speak aloud
بِٱلْقَوْلِ bil-qawli the word
فَإِنَّهُۥ fa-innahu then indeed, He
يَعْلَمُ yaʿlamu knows
ٱلسِّرَّ l-sira the secret
وَأَخْفَى wa-akhfā and the more hidden

7. 1. That is, there is no need to mention Allah or supplicate to Him in a loud voice. Because He knows even the most hidden of hidden things, or the meaning of اَخْفَیٰ is that Allah even knows those matters which He has written in destiny and has kept hidden from people until now. That is, He has knowledge of the events that will occur until the Day of Judgment.
