سُوْرَةُ طٰهٰ
Surah Taa-Haa (20) — Ayah 63
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَٰنِ لَسَـٰحِرَٰنِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِمَا وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ ٱلْمُثْلَىٰ ﴿63﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
They said: "Verily these are two magicians. Their object is to drive you out from your land with magic, and overcome your chiefs and nobles.

63. 1. مثلیٰ is the attribute of طریقۃ, it is the feminine form of امثل in the meaning of افضل. The meaning is that if these two brothers prevail by the force of their 'magic', then the nobles and chiefs will incline towards them, which will endanger our authority and increase the possibility of their authority. Besides, our best way or religion, they will also eliminate it. That is, they have also declared their polytheistic religion as "the best", just as even today every follower of a false religion and sect is afflicted with the same corrupt delusion. Allah has truly said (کل حزب بما لدیھم فرحون) every sect rejoices in what it has.
