سُوْرَةُ طٰهٰ

Surah Taa-Haa (20) — Ayah 50

قَالَ رَبُّنَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلْقَهُۥ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ ﴿50﴾
[Mûsâ (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright."
قَالَ qāla He said
رَبُّنَا rabbunā Our Lord
ٱلَّذِىٓ alladhī (is) the One Who
أَعْطَىٰ aʿṭā gave
كُلَّ kulla (to) every
شَىْءٍ shayin thing
خَلْقَهُۥ khalqahu its form
ثُمَّ thumma then
هَدَىٰ hadā He guided (it)

50. 1. For example, the form and appearance that was suitable for humans, He granted to them, and that which was suitable for animals, He granted to the animals. The meaning of 'showed the way' is that every creature was made to understand the way of living, eating, drinking, and dwelling according to its natural needs. According to this, every creature provides the necessities of life and spends the days of its borrowed life.
