Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 64

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ ﴿64﴾
Then after that you turned away. Had it not been for the Grace and Mercy of Allâh upon you, indeed you would have been among the losers.
ثُمَّ thumma Then
تَوَلَّيْتُم tawallaytum you turned away
مِّنۢ min from
بَعْدِ baʿdi after
ذَٰلِكَ ۖ dhālika that
فَلَوْلَا falawlā So if not
فَضْلُ faḍlu (for the) Grace
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi (of) Allah
عَلَيْكُمْ ʿalaykum upon you
وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ waraḥmatuhu and His Mercy
لَكُنتُم lakuntum surely you would have been
مِّنَ mina of
ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ l-khāsirīna the losers
