And seek help in patience and As-Salât (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khâshi‘ûn [i.e. the true believers in Allâh - those who obey Allâh with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise) and in His Warnings (Hell)].
وَٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ wa-is'taʿīnū And seek help
بِٱلصَّبْرِ bil-ṣabri through patience
وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ wal-ṣalati and the prayer
وَإِنَّهَا wa-innahā and indeed, it
لَكَبِيرَةٌ lakabīratun (is) surely difficult
إِلَّا illā except
عَلَى ʿalā on
ٱلْخَـٰشِعِينَ l-khāshiʿīna the humble ones

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

45. 1. Patience and prayer are two great weapons for every devotee of Allah. Through prayer, a believer establishes a connection and relationship with Allah Almighty, from which he receives Allah’s support and help. Through patience, one attains firmness of character and steadfastness in religion. In the hadith, it is mentioned that whenever an important matter would arise before the Prophet ﷺ, he would immediately turn to prayer (Fath al-Qadeer).

45. 2. Observing prayer regularly is burdensome for ordinary people, but for those who are humble and submissive, it is easy and even a source of satisfaction and comfort. Who are these people? They are those who have complete certainty in the Day of Judgment. Thus, belief in the Hereafter motivates good deeds, while heedlessness of the Hereafter makes a person inactive or even leads to evil deeds.
