Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

39. 1. Despite the acceptance of the supplication, Allah did not settle them again in Paradise, but instead instructed them to seek Paradise while remaining in this world, and through Hazrat Adam (علیہ السلام), the path to Paradise is being shown to all the children of Adam. That through the Prophets (علیہم السلام), My guidance (the rules and regulations for living life) will reach you; whoever accepts it will be deserving of Paradise, and otherwise will be subject to the punishment of Allah. "There will be no fear upon them" relates to the Hereafter. "ای فیما یستقبلونہ من امر الاخرۃ" and "nor will they grieve" relates to the world. "علی ما فاتھم من امورالدنیا" (what has passed from the matters of the world or what they have left behind in the world), just as in another place is the verse (فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقٰي) 20:259. Whoever follows My guidance, then he will neither go astray (in the world) nor be miserable (in the Hereafter). Ibn Kathir. Thus, the status of verse (لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ھُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ) 10:62 is attained by every true believer; it is not a status that is only for some of the friends of Allah, and then the meaning of the status is also given a certain meaning. Whereas all believers and the pious are also the friends of Allah. The friends of Allah are not a separate creation. However, there can be differences in the ranks among the friends.
