سُوْرَةُ البَقَرَةِ
Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 23
وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍ مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ ﴿23﴾

And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur’ân) to Our slave (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), then produce a Sûrah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allâh, if you are truthful.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

23. 1. After Tawheed, now the affirmation of Prophethood is being stated. We have sent down the Book upon the servant; if you are in doubt about its being from Allah, then gather all your supporters and produce a single surah like it. And if you cannot do so, then you should understand that indeed this speech is not the effort of any human; it is the speech of Allah. And we should strive to believe in Us and in the Messenger ﷺ and save ourselves from the fire of Hell, which has been prepared only for the disbelievers.
