Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this frequently. During Tawaf, instead of reciting different self-made supplications for each round, this supplication should be recited at the time of Tawaf. (رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً) 2:21. It is a Sunnah practice to recite this between Rukn Yamani and Hajar Aswad.
