سُوْرَةُ البَقَرَةِ
Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 200
فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَـٰسِكَكُمْ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ ءَابَآءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا ۗ فَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَـٰقٍ ﴿200﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
So when you have accomplished your Manâsik, remember Allâh as you remember your forefathers or with a far more remembrance. But of mankind there are some who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Your Bounties) in this world!" and for such there will be no portion in the Hereafter.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

20. 1. The people of Arabia, after completing their rituals, used to gather in Mina and recount the achievements of their ancestors. Muslims are being instructed that when you have finished throwing the pebbles on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, offering sacrifice, shaving your heads, performing the Tawaf of the Ka'bah, and the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, then during the following three days of your stay in Mina, remember Allah abundantly, because in the days of ignorance you used to mention your ancestors.
