Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 157

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَٰتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ ﴿157﴾
They are those on whom are the Salawât (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones.
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika Those
عَلَيْهِمْ ʿalayhim on them
صَلَوَٰتٌۭ ṣalawātun (are) blessings
مِّن min from
رَّبِّهِمْ rabbihim their Lord
وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۖ waraḥmatun and Mercy
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ wa-ulāika And those
هُمُ humu [they]
ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ l-muh'tadūna (are) the guided ones

157. 1. In these verses, there are glad tidings for those who are patient. In the hadith, at the time of loss, the virtue and emphasis of reciting (اِناَّ لِلّٰہِ وَ اناَّاِ لَیْہِ رَجِعُوْنَ) 2:156 and اللَّھُمْ اَجَرْنِیْ فِیْ مُصِیْبَتِیْ have also been mentioned.
