سُوْرَةُ البَقَرَةِ
Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 138
صِبْغَةَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ صِبْغَةً ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ عَـٰبِدُونَ ﴿138﴾

[Our Sibghah (religion) is] the Sibghah (Religion) of Allâh (Islâm) and which Sibghah (religion) can be better than Allâh’s? And we are His worshippers. [Tafsir Ibn Kathîr]

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

138. 1. Christians have prescribed a yellow-colored water, which is given to every Christian child and to every person whom they intend to make a Christian. This ritual is called baptism among them. According to them, it is very essential; without it, they do not consider anyone to be pure. Allah Almighty refuted them and said that the true color is the color of Allah. There is no color better than His, and by the color of Allah is meant the religion of nature, that is, the religion of Islam, to which every prophet in his own era invited his own people. That is, the invitation to monotheism.
