So if they believe in the like of that which you believe, then they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allâh will suffice you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

137. 1. The Companions also believed in the same aforementioned way, so by giving the example of the Companions, it is being said that if they believe in the same way as you, O Companions, have believed, then surely they will be rightly guided. If they turn away in stubbornness and disagreement, then there is no need to worry; their conspiracies will not harm you in any way because Allah is sufficient for you. Thus, within a few years, this promise was fulfilled: Banu Qaynuqa and Banu Nadir were exiled, and Banu Qurayza were killed. According to historical narrations, at the time of the martyrdom of Uthman, a Mushaf of Uthman was in his own lap, and the drops—and even the flow—of his blood fell on the phrase of this verse (فَسَيَكْفِيْكَهُمُ اللّٰهُ) 2:137. It is said that this Mushaf still exists in Turkey today.
