وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَلَا تَنفَعُهَا شَفَـٰعَةٌ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ﴿123﴾
And fear the Day (of Judgement) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped.
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ wa-ittaqū And fear
يَوْمًۭا yawman a day
لَّا not
تَجْزِى tajzī will avail
نَفْسٌ nafsun a soul
عَن ʿan (of)
نَّفْسٍۢ nafsin (another) soul
شَيْـًۭٔا shayan anything
وَلَا walā and not
يُقْبَلُ yuq'balu will be accepted
مِنْهَا min'hā from it
عَدْلٌۭ ʿadlun any compensation
وَلَا walā and not
تَنفَعُهَا tanfaʿuhā will benefit it
شَفَـٰعَةٌۭ shafāʿatun any intercession
وَلَا walā and not
هُمْ hum they
يُنصَرُونَ yunṣarūna will be helped
