Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 111

وَقَالُوا۟ لَن يَدْخُلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مَن كَانَ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَـٰرَىٰ ۗ تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ ۗ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ ﴿111﴾
And they say, "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." These are their own desires. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), "Produce your proof if you are truthful."
وَقَالُوا۟ waqālū And they said
لَن lan Never
يَدْخُلَ yadkhula will enter
ٱلْجَنَّةَ l-janata the Paradise
إِلَّا illā except
مَن man who
كَانَ kāna is
هُودًا hūdan (a) Jew[s]
أَوْ aw or
نَصَـٰرَىٰ ۗ naṣārā (a) Christian[s]
تِلْكَ til'ka That
أَمَانِيُّهُمْ ۗ amāniyyuhum (is) their wishful thinking
قُلْ qul Say
هَاتُوا۟ hātū Bring
بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ bur'hānakum your proof
إِن in if
كُنتُمْ kuntum you are
صَـٰدِقِينَ ṣādiqīna [those who are] truthful
