تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلْجِبَالُ هَدًّا ﴿90﴾
Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,
تَكَادُ takādu Almost
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ l-samāwātu the heavens
يَتَفَطَّرْنَ yatafaṭṭarna get torn
مِنْهُ min'hu therefrom
وَتَنشَقُّ watanshaqqu and splits asunder
ٱلْأَرْضُ l-arḍu the earth
وَتَخِرُّ watakhirru and collapse
ٱلْجِبَالُ l-jibālu the mountain
هَدًّا haddan (in) devastation
