He said: "So (it will be). Your Lord says: It is easy for Me. Certainly I have created you before, when you had been nothing!"

عَلَىَّʿalayya(is) easy for Me
هَيِّنٌۭhayyinun(is) easy for Me
وَقَدْwaqadand certainly
خَلَقْتُكَkhalaqtukaI (have) created you
مِنminbefore
قَبْلُqablubefore
وَلَمْwalamwhile not
تَكُtakuyou were
شَيْـًۭٔاshayananything.'

The angels said, in order to remove the astonishment of Hazrat Zakariya that Allah has decided to grant you a son, and according to this, you will certainly receive a son, and this is absolutely not a difficult task for Allah because when He can bring you from non-existence into existence, then He can also grant you a son apart from apparent means.
