أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا ۩ ﴿58﴾
Those were they unto whom Allâh bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nûh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrâhîm (Abraham) and Israel, and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Gracious (Allâh) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrate and weeping.
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika Those
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna (were) the ones whom
أَنْعَمَ anʿama Allah bestowed favor
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu Allah bestowed favor
عَلَيْهِم ʿalayhim upon them
مِّنَ mina from (among)
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ l-nabiyīna the Prophets
مِن min of
ذُرِّيَّةِ dhurriyyati (the) offspring
ءَادَمَ ādama (of) Adam
وَمِمَّنْ wamimman and of those
حَمَلْنَا ḥamalnā We carried
مَعَ maʿa with
نُوحٍۢ nūḥin Nuh
وَمِن wamin and of
ذُرِّيَّةِ dhurriyyati (the) offspring
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ib'rāhīma (of) Ibrahim
وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ wa-is'rāīla and Israel
وَمِمَّنْ wamimman and of (those) whom
هَدَيْنَا hadaynā We guided
وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ ۚ wa-ij'tabaynā and We chose
إِذَا idhā When
تُتْلَىٰ tut'lā were recited
عَلَيْهِمْ ʿalayhim to them
ءَايَـٰتُ āyātu (the) Verses
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ l-raḥmāni (of) the Most Gracious
خَرُّوا۟ kharrū they fell
سُجَّدًۭا sujjadan prostrating
وَبُكِيًّۭا ۩ wabukiyyan and weeping

58. 1. Thus, upon hearing the verses of Allah, to be overtaken by a state of ecstasy and to fall in prostration before the majesty of Allah is a special sign of the servants of Allah. The Sunnah supplication for the prostration of recitation is (وَ سَجَدَ وَ جْھِیَ لِلَّذِیْ خَلَہُ ، وَصَوَّرَہُ ، وَ شَقَّ سَمْعَہُ وَ بَصَرَہَ بِحَوْلِہِ وَ قُوَّتِہِ) (Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i. As cited in Mishkat, Chapter: Prostration of the Quran). In some narrations, there is an addition.
