Surah Maryam (19) — Ayah 46

قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ ءَالِهَتِى يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖ وَٱهْجُرْنِى مَلِيًّا ﴿46﴾
He (the father) said: "Do you reject my gods, O Ibrâhîm (Abraham)? If you stop not (this), I will indeed stone you. So get away from me safely (before I punish you)."
قَالَ qāla He said
أَرَاغِبٌ arāghibun Do you hate
أَنتَ anta Do you hate
عَنْ ʿan (from)
ءَالِهَتِى ālihatī my gods
يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ ۖ yāib'rāhīmu O Ibrahim
لَئِن la-in Surely, if
لَّمْ lam not
تَنتَهِ tantahi you desist
لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖ la-arjumannaka surely, I will stone you
وَٱهْجُرْنِى wa-uh'jur'nī so leave me
مَلِيًّۭا maliyyan (for) a prolonged time

46. 1. A long period, a span of time. The second meaning is given as Sahih and safe. That is, leave me to my own state, lest you end up getting your hands and feet broken by me.
