Surah Maryam (19) — Ayah 16

وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرْقِيًّا ﴿16﴾
And mention in the Book (the Qur’ân, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east.
وَٱذْكُرْ wa-udh'kur And mention
فِى in
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ l-kitābi the Book
مَرْيَمَ maryama Maryam
إِذِ idhi when
ٱنتَبَذَتْ intabadhat she withdrew
مِنْ min from
أَهْلِهَا ahlihā her family
مَكَانًۭا makānan (to) a place
شَرْقِيًّۭا sharqiyyan eastern
