كَذَٰلِكَ وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْرًا ﴿91﴾
So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Dhul-Qarnain).
كَذَٰلِكَ kadhālika Thus
وَقَدْ waqad And verily
أَحَطْنَا aḥaṭnā We encompassed
بِمَا bimā of what
لَدَيْهِ ladayhi (was) with him
خُبْرًۭا khub'ran (of the) information

91. 1 That is, what We have stated about Dhul-Qarnayn is exactly as We have described: first he reached the farthest west and then the farthest east, and We have complete knowledge of all his abilities, means and resources, and all other matters concerning him.
