Surah Al-Kahf (18) — Ayah 48

وَعُرِضُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ صَفًّا لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۭ ۚ بَلْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَلَّن نَّجْعَلَ لَكُم مَّوْعِدًا ﴿48﴾
And they will be set before your Lord in (lines as) rows, (and Allâh will say): "Now indeed, you have come to Us as We created you the first time. Nay, but you thought that We had appointed no meeting for you (with Us)."
وَعُرِضُوا۟ waʿuriḍū And they will be presented
عَلَىٰ ʿalā before
رَبِّكَ rabbika your Lord
صَفًّۭا ṣaffan (in) rows
لَّقَدْ laqad Certainly
جِئْتُمُونَا ji'tumūnā you have come to Us
كَمَا kamā as
خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ khalaqnākum We created you
أَوَّلَ awwala the first
مَرَّةٍۭ ۚ marratin time
بَلْ bal Nay
زَعَمْتُمْ zaʿamtum you claimed
أَلَّن allan that not
نَّجْعَلَ najʿala We made
لَكُم lakum for you
مَّوْعِدًۭا mawʿidan an appointment
