Surah Al-Kahf (18) — Ayah 33

كِلْتَا ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ ءَاتَتْ أُكُلَهَا وَلَمْ تَظْلِم مِّنْهُ شَيْـًٔا ۚ وَفَجَّرْنَا خِلَـٰلَهُمَا نَهَرًا ﴿33﴾
Each of those two gardens brought forth its produce, and failed not in the least therein, and We caused a river to gush forth in the midst of them.
كِلْتَا kil'tā Each
ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ l-janatayni (of) the two gardens
ءَاتَتْ ātat brought forth
أُكُلَهَا ukulahā its produce
وَلَمْ walam and not
تَظْلِم taẓlim did wrong
مِّنْهُ min'hu of it
شَيْـًۭٔا ۚ shayan anything
وَفَجَّرْنَا wafajjarnā And We caused to gush forth
خِلَـٰلَهُمَا khilālahumā within them
نَهَرًۭا naharan a river

33. 1 That is, they did not reduce their yield in any way, rather they produced abundantly.

33. 2 So that there would be no hindrance in irrigating the gardens. Or, unlike rain-fed areas, they would not remain dependent on rainfall.
