سُوْرَةُ الإِسۡرَاءِ

Surah Al-Israa (17) — Ayah 39

ذَٰلِكَ مِمَّآ أَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ ٱلْحِكْمَةِ ۗ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتُلْقَىٰ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًا مَّدْحُورًا ﴿39﴾
This is (part) of Al-Hikmah (wisdom, good manners and high character) which your Lord has revealed to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم). And set not up with Allâh any other ilâh (god) lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected, (from Allâh’s Mercy).
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika That
مِمَّآ mimmā (is) from what
أَوْحَىٰٓ awḥā (was) revealed
إِلَيْكَ ilayka to you
رَبُّكَ rabbuka (from) your Lord
مِنَ mina of
ٱلْحِكْمَةِ ۗ l-ḥik'mati the wisdom
وَلَا walā And (do) not
تَجْعَلْ tajʿal make
مَعَ maʿa with
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah
إِلَـٰهًا ilāhan god
ءَاخَرَ ākhara other
فَتُلْقَىٰ fatul'qā lest you should be thrown
فِى in
جَهَنَّمَ jahannama Hell
مَلُومًۭا malūman blameworthy
مَّدْحُورًا madḥūran abandoned
