سُوْرَةُ الإِسۡرَاءِ

Surah Al-Israa (17) — Ayah 22

لَّا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومًا مَّخْذُولًا ﴿22﴾
Set not up with Allâh any other ilâh (god), (O man)! (This verse is addressed to Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم , but its implication is general to all mankind), or you will sit down reproved, forsaken (in the Hell-fire).
لَّا (Do) not
تَجْعَلْ tajʿal make
مَعَ maʿa with
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah
إِلَـٰهًا ilāhan god
ءَاخَرَ ākhara another
فَتَقْعُدَ fataqʿuda lest you will sit
مَذْمُومًۭا madhmūman disgraced
مَّخْذُولًۭا makhdhūlan forsaken
