Surah An-Nahl (16) — Ayah 80

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۢ بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ بُيُوتًا تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُمْ ۙ وَمِنْ أَصْوَافِهَا وَأَوْبَارِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَآ أَثَـٰثًا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ ﴿80﴾
And Allâh has made for you in your homes an abode, and made for you out of the hides of the cattle (tents for) dwelling, which you find so light (and handy) when you travel and when you stay (in your travels); and of their wool, fur, and hair (sheep wool, camel fur, and goat hair), furnishings and articles of convenience (e.g. carpets, blankets), comfort for a while.
وَٱللَّهُ wal-lahu And Allah
جَعَلَ jaʿala (has) made
لَكُم lakum for you
مِّنۢ min [from]
بُيُوتِكُمْ buyūtikum your homes
سَكَنًۭا sakanan a resting place
وَجَعَلَ wajaʿala and made
لَكُم lakum for you
مِّن min from
جُلُودِ julūdi the hides
ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ l-anʿāmi (of) the cattle
بُيُوتًۭا buyūtan tents
تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا tastakhiffūnahā which you find light
يَوْمَ yawma (on) the day
ظَعْنِكُمْ ẓaʿnikum (of) your travel
وَيَوْمَ wayawma and the day
إِقَامَتِكُمْ ۙ iqāmatikum (of) your encampment
وَمِنْ wamin and from
أَصْوَافِهَا aṣwāfihā their wool
وَأَوْبَارِهَا wa-awbārihā and their fur
وَأَشْعَارِهَآ wa-ashʿārihā and their hair
أَثَـٰثًۭا athāthan (is) furnishing
وَمَتَـٰعًا wamatāʿan and a provision
إِلَىٰ ilā for
حِينٍۢ ḥīnin a time

80. 1. That is, leather tents, which you easily carry with you during travel, and whenever needed, you pitch them and protect yourselves from the severity of the weather.

80. 2. اَصْوَاف is the plural of صُوْف, meaning sheep's wool; اَوْبَار is the plural of وَبَر, meaning camel hair; اَشْعَار is the plural of شَعَر, meaning the hair of rams and goats. Many types of items are made from these, from which a person gains wealth and also benefits from them for a certain period.
