Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

15. 1. This describes the benefit of the mountains and is also a great favor of Allah, because if the earth kept shaking, it would not be possible to live on it. This can be understood from those earthquakes that come for just a few seconds and moments, but how they turn huge, strong buildings into dust and cities into ruins.

15. 2. The system of rivers is also amazing; where do they begin and where do they go, to the right, left, north, south, east, and west, irrigating every direction. In this way, paths have been made, through which you reach your intended destination.
