سُوْرَةُ الْحِجْرِ
Surah Al-Hijr (15) — Ayah 64
وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ ﴿64﴾

"And we have brought you the truth (the news of the destruction of your nation) and certainly, we tell the truth.

وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ
wa-ataynāka
And we have come to you
بِٱلْحَقِّ
bil-ḥaqi
with the truth
وَإِنَّا
wa-innā
and indeed, we
لَصَـٰدِقُونَ
laṣādiqūna
surely (are) truthful

64. 1. By this clear truth is meant the punishment for which they were sent, so they said, "We are indeed truthful." That is, regarding the punishment we are speaking of, we are truthful. Now the time for the destruction of this nation has come very near.
