سُوْرَةُ الْحِجْرِ
Surah Al-Hijr (15) — Ayah 52
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ ﴿52﴾

When they entered unto him, and said: Salâm (peace)! [Ibrâhîm (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you."

52. 1. Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) felt fear from these angels because they did not eat the roasted calf prepared by him, as detailed in Surah Hud. From this, it is understood that even the great messengers of Allah do not possess knowledge of the unseen. If the prophets were all-knowing of the unseen, then Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) would have understood that the arriving guests were angels and there was no need to prepare food for them, because angels are not in need of eating and drinking like humans.
