مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ ﴿5﴾

5. 1. Whichever town We destroy due to disobedience, We do not destroy it immediately; rather, We have appointed a fixed time. The people of that town are given respite until that appointed time, but when that appointed time arrives, they are destroyed, and then they can neither advance nor delay it.
